Many of these things may have been discussed when thugs were first introduced, but I thought Id shoot down a quick message here with some ideas for consideration.

1) Mobs can trip and there are mobs that can sucker punch (like in the groin etc). Since Thugs do not have that many skills and the coding is already in, why not give thugs the ability to trip during combat and/or a sucker punch which could work like an enchanced kick? I mean I thought the concept, to some extent is that Thugs know how to fight dirty. Also, trip would be consistent with Rushing attack which I think (although Ive never seen it) has the same effect of knocking a player down.

2) It seems that thugs get ranger/thief dex when prime and shaman/mage str when prime. To me this doesnt seem consistent with the idea of a thug. Again, I wasnt active when thugs went in, so maybe there is a reason for this? Perhaps lowering thugs to 38 carried items and jacking up str to 650 would make more sense for a class that is supposedly a thief class, but in theory a bully, or ruffian.

I was holding back to see if anyone else had anything to say about this.

From my POV, thugs aren't really on my radar. They aren't the class with the most needs, so I don't think a lot about new skills for them.

A PC skill that puts someone on the ground does not excite. I'm not altogether comfortable with rushing attack. I'm not really thinking about expanding it further.
