There has to be some cool good way this can be done! If anyone has ideas that could possibly strike an intrest in Tyn-man and get it implemented please post!

If code changes such that a level 50 muggle is possible....
Then I would suggest, nay, beg and entreat, that Ptarchyzk be permitted to convert to whatever it is. It seems only fair and right as he was the sole voice for muggles for ... gosh. Um. Years.

I don't think that would be fair. If it was, then there are plenty of Warrior/Cleric/Thieves that would probably much better prefer to be Warrior/Cleric/Thugs instead so they could still wear metal equipment. If Ptarchyzk were given the opportunity to convert to whatever class, the same courtisy would have to be extended to every character that dualed or tripled to thief that wants to be a thug instead.

Perhaps there can be a holder class where you do not get any additional skills/spells for people that really want to be single/dual class but want to have the hit roll, hps and other benefits of being a 50. I dont think you should be able to get any additional skills as you always have the choice to take a magic class. However, if you want to xp forever then you should be able to add levels to increase your effective if you so desire. This way we could also have level 50 straight warriors. I would be very careful about giving extra damage or hit (aside from based on eff levels) to non-magic class users as unless this is done very carefully it would impact balance.

I think a place holder class would be pretty cool actually. Instead of other options that would seem to require much more work. It would be something that changes the mud completly though, i believe in a good way. players would have a much wider scale of options onw aht they can create!

I was speaking rather tongue in cheek, and also giving a nod to Ptarchyzk's longstanding struggle to gain parity for muggles.
