The Parlor
[Exits: north east]
The parlor was designed with entertainment in mind, with several sections
of sitting areas. There is a large fireplace on the south wall, surrounded
by a sofa and lounge chairs. A curtained bay window to the west looks like
a musicians' corner with a harp, and smaller instruments resting on a side
table next to the window. Another sofa and a few cushioned chairs face the
window, set up for the next musical performance. In the northeast corner
there is a small bar with bottles of whiskey and other fine spirits
available to the guests, surrounded by several high back cushioned chairs.
A set of stained glass doors lead out to the foyer to the north and an
open archway leads to the dining room to the east.

A Circular Foyer
[Exits: north south west up]
The entrance to the plantation manor house is spacious and bright. There
are tall windows draped with ivory silk on either side of the carved
mahogany doors leading outside to the front of the manor. A wide staircase
leads up to a second floor landing, the banisters and steps the same dark
mahogany as the doors. A circular, gold leaf table stands in the center of
the ivory marble floor, with a magnificent display of fresh flowers in a
vase atop it. There is a closed door to the north, and a pair of stained
glass doors leading south into what looks like a parlor.
This place is unusually quiet...
