When TFC/Web Site/Forums Are Unreachable

When the TFC server is unreachable, MUD, TFC website, and forums are all unreachable. This makes it somewhat... challenging to relay status.

Game and server status updates will be provided via Twitter. There are a few advantages to using Twitter. First, one doesn't have to be a Twitter user or have an account to see updates. You can go to the URL and see status. If you prefer, you can also get an RSS feed. Second, those that do use Twitter can follow the TFC Twitter timeline ('tfcmud') and receive updates automatically. And of course, the information isn't hosted on the TFC server, so even if the server is unreachable, we can still give status.
