While it’s been quite an eventful week I certainly haven't been productive, and the week is almost over! I managed to do a proof of concept on my quest idea; the code already supports what I need it to do so looks this project shall move forward. Oh yeah and the creative... hrm... aha! I’ve recruited Cordir to help, what this means is the quest might actually happen sometime before next year. She’s an asset and has helped bring these ideas of mine to fruition many times now. Which is good because…

I've gotten distracted again (oooo! shiny thing!). With all the effort in creating a big quest I keep thinking how neat it would be to have the Lua scripting that’s being considered for V5 available. While it wouldn't help the amount of work necessarily it would greatly improve the options! I’ve been reading a lot about it lately and started poking at some code. I’ll probably have some more thoughts on it as time goes on. Oh and also when I get past having more errors than I do lines of code.

It was so great seeing Bliss again today. I’ve missed her terribly and she really needs to come back tomorrow! BUT since distractions (oooo! Shiny thing!) seems to be a running theme, I shall officially blame her for today’s lack of significant progress on anything. *nod self*

Lastly I'll say a small thing about the ugliness from yesterday. I don't feel that it is the population's business to know all of the details of an investigation and punishment. I will say there is often months of investigation and a very firm case before a ruling happens. There was much more behind this than presented in his final note.
