Thread: Player corpse, scarred by mob

Default Player corpse, scarred by mob

It would be fun to see what killed a player.

"The corpse of Ylang, scarred by the Tempest, is here."
"Ylang gives you the corpse of Ylang, scarred by Corri."

The best-case scenario would be if this mark did not show up on locate (since that would make it easier to find the recently deceased), but did show up both in the long description, and in the short description for when you juggle, drop or give a corpse.

I doubt this is possible, however (since locate uses the short description). Perhaps slightly easier locatability isn't a major issue, in which case both long and short descriptions can get the additional text when the corpse is created. If it is an issue, only the long description should get the what-killed-you identifier.

(This should apply to player corpses only -- not sure of the code implications of that.)

    Ylang O. Ylang, Sylph Maiden

It's cute, but I don't really see the point in this.
If code is being changed, I rather see it being changed into something useful. Like getting back Slue and all the other missing mobs...
