13 years -- sounds so crazy when it's in print. Which GT did you go to 13 years ago?

I'd like to revive some discussion on this thread, as I'd like to get a GT going...not sure how many of the portland players could make it, but I do know there are quite a few people within a 6 hour drive...

At any rate, since I'm also planning on being in my old stomping grounds of (ie, same as Lycron's) for christmas this year, I'd like to throw out a similar shout out to anyone who'd be down to collect in the Western Ny area around Christmas-Time...

Well, regardless, putting it out there...if anyone wanders through Portland, let me know, I love a good mini-GT (as Linkin well knows...)

    Hi,

Havent been to a GT since the one in AZ where a number of us met and went to the AZ version of the Renaissance Festival a couple of years ago.

I'm pretty sure there's not too many folks within a reasonable distance of me, which is a bummer. I'd love to host a GT and cook for everyone, like I used to do at the LA events. (Not sure Abe would be delighted with the house being invaded, so I'm just talking for myself, here.)

I do travel some times for SCA events, but my time there is usually taken up by family.

I love seeing pictures from Gts, though, so if anyone goes: Take that camera!!

It was at a Peter Piper Pizza in Mesa, That PPP no longer exists, closed about 5-7 years ago.
That GT was also the catalyst to get me to play TFC, as I was a employee at PPP, I was cleaning tables around you guys, and heard the "Fantasy Talk" at the time. Mud speak now, just basic jibber jabber about killing some mob, or going t some area for an item.

I believe, I had spoken to FK, who had noticed that I was intrigued by the group. He told me how to telnet to the game, and I had been hooked ever since.

I have never been to a GT. I would loveto go to one. Of course being canadian makes it a little tough, I am not to sure if US residents have to have a passport to come to Canada but we do now to o to the US. If one comes up though i will definatly try to make it.
