The TFC server was unreachable last week, which made the MUD, TFC website, and forums unreachable. This made it somewhat... challenging to relay status.

So, this is to confirm that status updates will be provided via Twitter. There are a few advantages to using Twitter. First, one doesn't have to be a Twitter user or have an account to see updates. You can go to the URL and see status. If you prefer, you can also get an RSS feed. Second, those that do use Twitter can follow the TFC Twitter timeline ('tfcmud') and receive updates automatically. And of course, the information isn't hosted on the TFC server, so even if it's unreachable, we can still give status.

So, bookmark or follow http://twitter.com/tfcmud .
