Default Lesser Idea: Specifying the "List" Command

There's a couple places where a wandering shopkeeper might decide to stay in the room of another shop for quite a while. Nydia and Dwarvenhold leaping to mind.

Is there a way that the "list" command can be specified? Fidgets suggested List <Name>.

I know it's not much of a problem for those that can summon or kill the offending shopkeeper, but most lower level players don't have that option.

List <Name> already exists. For example, you can do <list sash> and all the sashes that are being sold are offered. I like the idea in general, but how about this:

Default remains the same as it is.
For those extra tricky moments when 2 shoppies are in one room you can do <2.list>

It works along the same lines as any other thing where there are 2 of something (kill 2.worker / get 2.scroll 4.bag / c summon 5.centaur) and does not mess anyone up under "normal" conditions.

I feel like a dork. I have been playing this game for 15 years and NEVER thought to try that.
