Post Roses are Red, Bruises are Blue....

This one goes out to everyone Rosemark has written a smarmy note about.

Few have taken time to appreciate the beauty of the river, choosing instead
to worry about what lies ahead. But why worry? What will happen, will happen.
Why not enjoy the dancing of the water bugs, the sounds of the birds on the
bank, and the serenity of the river. You will have time enough later for fear,
    worry, and abject terror.
The sky is rainy and a cold northern gust blows.

Lake Stillwater opens up north of here, part of the In'zerre but just as
grand in its own right. Some say drinking the waters of the lake can give
one a feeling of being totally refreshed. But others scoff at this notion.
No one really knows for sure, but the legend continues to survive down to
this day that one sip from the right place will do wonders. Of course, the
other half of the legend says that a sip from the wrong place can kill. Do
    you dare risk it?

    PRAISE LORD NASH!!

  2. Default You didn't let me finish what MY THOUGHT WAS!!!

I was thinking! And what did you do?! You took advantage of my thinking-ness, Hedschott And ....don't get me started on Jujube! And Lestat! How could u! After I almost DIED FOR YOU TO THAT MAGE MOB?! hmph to you all....then 5 minutes later dying to another group of hooligans. You will regret it! I shall poem you to death.

P.S. I tried to delete self in the heat of the moment, you can't! Terrible...

You did good to get to 30+ without getting PK'd. You did better than I that's for sure! Thankfully your opponent posted a log of your combat. Review it and learn from your mistakes. More experienced players may be able to find where you went wrong. I don't see much that you could have done, except maybe a trigger to recall once you have been summoned. There is a small lag between the summon that you can sometimes use to get out of there.

  4. Default Many mistakes, but just to name a few

    1. Thinking Hedschott got bored and logged off.
    2. Thinking I could saunter along a lovely river!
    3. Using a stupid macbook with a mud program I know nothing about.
    4. Trying to gossip what I was thinking! (tho I forget now what that was)
    5. Hitting the stupid calculator/weather/compass button thingie instead of the remove curse potion one (which was in my inventory unless he took it)
    6. And then being trapped in compass weather hell thanks to Apple. Sony, baby, you are coming out of the box.

    Your Mistakes:

    Calling a macbook 'stupid'.

It is not fun to die. That said, many of those mistakes you will be sure not to repeat again. Live and learn, right? Don't be too hard on yourself.

Just like one does not simply stroll into Mordor, one does not saunter up and down the rivers on the South Continent or through Nydia. Those rivers are the main thoroughfares for the Eastern part of the South Continent. Rule number of TFC navigation...know where you are going and get there quickly.

Also... I'm with Ink. My Macbook and iMac seem to work fine for Mudding. I keep telling ya to switch to Atlantis.

  9. Default My mac has been abused by an incorrigible cat

Therefore, it *is* stupid now. Perhaps it wasn't at some point...but alas, my cat likes to sleep on the keyboard. I think he broke it and now the
screen is so loose it doesn't let me type half the time, since he leans on it. And don't get me started on the decapitated lizard I stepped on in the dark one night
