Dear fellow players,

I have been under constant attack lately against me personally as a player totally OOC. I have done nothing to merit this and the
members of hunt that are constantly harassing me are doing so because they claim I "pretended to be new" when in fact I was
simply trying to stay in character and learn about TFC in character as I progressed. Sagan, Ink, Vale and even a few other hunts
have been constantly harassing me about who I am OOC always bordering right on the razors edge of stepping into the realm of
illegal words and actions. Since Vale was forced to return my corpse under the FYI: high levels picking on low levels, he has been
so relentless with his harassment that I have decided to also take action. I don't know what the rules are on bugging people so rather
then go to the god+ team I am just going to post all of their rude conversations publicly so everyone else can see what jerks they
are being and perhaps their goddess will step in and request they exhibit more manners within the realm. I should have started
loggin them weeks ago but oh well, I will start now.

this was a mild example, but if they continue then so will the posts, I just want them to stop with the OOC crap.

I had not even spoken to you before when you volunteered the information that you were a new character, had no other characters and had learned everything you knew about the game from the wiki the forums.

If you aren't going to practice character separation in truth, I'm not going to pretend the sham you're CALLING character separation works. You can't have your cake and eat it too - you can't ask to be treated as a true newbie while your friends give you gear from previous kills of yours, especially gear of that caliber.

I also had requested that you not speak to me of this and you'll note that I've never said a word to you about it - you were the one pestering me.

Thanks for opening this important topic up to discussion, I'm sure it's what the God+ staff is interested in dealing with.

8/8/11: Just after killing Miki (20/20ish) while he was sub-20, I was sitting at pit with Sylvan and Ridley and Vale. Sylvan said "need to cool my heels" because "people are claiming I'm not a newbie". Then he said the following:

To reiterate, this is a dumb thing to post about having an issue with. If you practiced the kind of character separation you claim to, nobody would know who you are. They may think you aren't a newbie, simply because of the skill you exhibit, but they wouldn't see certain people equipping you and you wouldn't be wearing 6/7 ND weapons. You can't start an OOC conversation, unrequested, about being a true newbie and learning from the Wiki and never having any other characters, then claim you've never said that because you don't speak OOC and come cry to the forums.

Why don't we just take the hate back in game and continue to kill (or not kill) each-other so that we don't have to have any accusations fly around or have the God+ staff have to babysit a bunch of grown men?

• I'm not sure I understand your initial response that that a question is 'hindering your rp enjoyment' -- perhaps he is roleplaying when he asks you where you got a specific piece of equipment? Reminding him that if he feels you are cheating, to report it, is a correct and appropriate response.

• I am confused and have no idea what is happening here. Either Vale thinks you are boring, or you think that sleep is for Nashites. I'm not really sure. :P

• People _tend_ to be much more understanding when players simply say, 'Yes, I've played before' rather than pretend they haven't. I ran into this recently with a mortal, and it completely spoiled me on all interactions with that individual.

• You are correct in asking Vale to stop discussing RL, AND he is perfectly correct in saying that when you say you are new, and obviously aren't, people will notice and become irritated with you. Both are valid.

4) You tell Vale (in common), 'yes, new in character'.

• The rules involving lower levels and higher levels are exactly that: in reference to LEVEL. Not to the player's personal experience with TFC, but the level of the characters involved. You are correct to point this out. That said: There's also a certain degree of karma in the world. For Example (not related to this particular post): When lower level characters persistantly harass higher level characters, this tends to have repercussions of one sort or another, at some point. Maybe it's being force-leveled to 20th, or no FLI being willing to accept them, or other more subtle responses. But that's a case of sleeping in the bed you've made for yourself (You, being general and not specific to Sylvan). Please see FYI #13 for relevant rules.

• Have no fear, Vale. I will continue to provide a pointed education for him in the niceties of the Nashite faith. (See other posts regarding my lessons)

• This is a bit "neener neener." Vale, _few_ people are as smart as you are and skilled at verbal repartee (and yes, I'm including myself in that, having debated with you on and off for .. a long time). Be the bigger man; don't rub it in.

• If Sylvan tells you to stop giving him tells, then stop. Period. Otehrwise, you're harassing him. That's against the rules. As Sagan pointed out: You are one of the aforementioned grown men who shouldn't need policing on this.

• This is an accusation of cheating, as governed under Policy 8, and I will be looking into it.

In summary, I suggest that everyone read Policy 3a, focusing on item # 5 on that list, and :FYI #3

He was well within the rules. If I kill someone and don't touch an item in the corpse and give it to a friend instead and then they give it to me as an alt months later, that is not illegal. Please note I didn't accuse him or cheating, only bent hypocritical when it comes to roleplaying a new character. Its simply silly to expect us to listen to his words claiming to be a newbie when his actions and those of his friends scream the opposite.

I hope I have adequately clarified my point. On my phone so its not fun to type.

I know I was within the rules, unlike when Portobello (hunt) attacked me illegally, serena (hunt) was brought in to loot my corpse so they wouldn't violate the FYI, vale (hunt) picked up my corpse when I was still a newbie and had mobdied, then (hunt) in general bugging me every damn day about my RL identity. fact is I never touched that weapon with my alt so I am legal to my knowledge as Sagan pointed out and if there is anyone in the game that deserves scrutiny its HUNT. I really am getting sick of it big time. Telling someone I am new when I have played before isn't illegal I just really wanted Sylvan to be a new journey for me as a player and obviously those guys have ruined it for me.

Sylvan, I am not sure how else to say this. Any chance you had of playing Sylvan as a "newbie" disappeared when you used your OOC connections to get access to gear far better than standard equipment. That weapon alone is better than that of most 50s that I can think of.

Petty attacks on either side serve no purpose. I am not accusing you of cheating and if your last post suggested that you believe we are then you should use the appropriate channels for that - this is hardly the place.

Kat has already spoken to us about our outspoken methods of interacting with you. I would much prefer to keep it online where we can kill each other to our hearts' content, but barring that, it would be nice for everyone if we do this via other means. I am sure squabbling like kids doesn't make either of us friends amongst the god+ staff.
