Thugs and 2 handed weapons?

I apologize if this has already been discussed but a quick search of the forums didn't yield anything. Why are thugs not allowed to use 2handers? If anyone in the game (aside from warriors) should be able to wield 2handers....it should be thugs. It doesn't make much sense to me. If someone can already wield a 2hander, I see no reason why tripling to thug should prevent this.

My idea? Change it!
Backup idea? Add the ability as a skill at lvl 10-15ish.

I agree 100%. Thugs are sort of a strong arm class... it doesn't make sense that tripling to thug would disable a feature that would remain present if one were to triple to thief instead.

Especially since the big races (the ones that will be able to wear 2h in one) can only be thugs. Giants, Minotaur, Ogre. This will make the compatibility of those features tricky in the future.
