    It should be harder to be disarmed if your equip'd with a 2h weapon. not sure if this is already in place, but i dont see any differences.

    I can agree with this idea. I haven't noticed any difference between 1handed and 2handed weapons with disarm.

    It makes sense...2 hands providing a better grip than 1 hand, generally speaking....

    This makes sense to me as well. Additionally, using a 2H weapon should improve one's chances of successfully disarming an opponent (greater leverage, typically heavier weapons, etc).

    I agree with Pol, anti-disarm and higher success with disarm should be benefits of 2HA weapons. This gives added viability to using a 2HA that I think is currently lacking.

    If you want to get more realistic with this, then since 2h swing harder, should be harder to disarm, and should be better at disarming an opponent, then they should also swing fewer times per round (reduction in effectiveness of 2nd and 3rd attack).

    The penalty for using a 2HA is already pretty significant. I don't think anyone is talking about making disarm automatically work, just a better chance of landing it or defending it. Not being able to use spheres/scrolls/etc is a pretty huge disadvantage. Why even have 2HA weapons if they are utterly useless for any non-single class warrior?

    At best this wouldn't be implemented until V5, and in V5 you can use a 2h weapon in one hand... gotta think about the future

    Only some races can use 2HA in 1 hand in the future. In those cases, disarm should work like normal since they're just wielding a weapon in 1 hand...

    Wielding a 2handed weapon in 1 hand shouldn't make a difference, but 'normal' characters wielding a 2handed weapon, yes I agree, it should be harder to be disarmed. Good point!

    Not sure I agree. Have you ever actually watched someone with a heavy two-handed weapon? They are not nearly as agile, often clumsy and their swings tend to be heavy, putting all but the most skilled off balance. Two handed weapons are meant for power. They don't afford you the same luxuries as, say, a rapier. You could stab someone multiple times with a rapier before most people could even lift a Claymore. To suggest would be harder to disarm a two handed weapon seems a little ridiculous. The same with disarming an opponent. I've seen people fence who could take a 50lbs rock out of people's hands..so the logic here seems flawed to me.

    I think you're confusing RL logic with game mechanics. RL logic also says nobody can throw lightning bolts at you, cover you in a protective white aura, rift your soul etc etc etc. Mugen's point (i think) was that 2HA weapons don't really have any inherent advantage or even any real usefulness for most people. Giving them a boost might make them more popular as an alternative to the ubiquitous Barbegazi mace....

    I agree with Avarice and Mugen's point - currently 2h weapons are useful in only extremely limited situations and characters. Doing something to boost their usefulness would be nice; either give them a much better range across the board, make them harder to disarm or something.
