No Frills Quickie Labor Day Weekend Quest of 2011

So, this coming weekend is Labor Day weekend in the US. I have been trying to run a big quest for many of the US holidays, but this one crept up on me. The other god+ have not planned anything. So...

The quest this time around will be a little different. Here's how it will work:

• Complete 6 Solo Scavenger Hunts (HELP SCAVENGER HUNT for details on how they work).
• You may participate with multiple characters, if you wish.
• You *must* complete your first solo scavenger hunt by NOON mud-time on Saturday, September 3th to qualify! No signup is necessary for this quest. So long as you do a solo scavenger hunt by noon tomorrow, you will be entered.
• Solo scavenger hunts must be done between NOON mud-time today (Friday, September 2) and NOON mud-time on Monday, September 5th to qualify.
• If less than 6 solo scavenger hunts are done, your score for the ones not done will be 0. Only the first 6 results after noon today will be used.
• I will create a Swiss-system tournament . The participants will be randomized.
• Each of the 6 solo scavenger hunt scores will be used (in order) for your results. In case of a non-zero tie, the character that submitted their score first will be declared the winner of that round against their opponent.
• Winner will receive (unspecified) prize(s).
• Depending on participation, I may also prize for other factors.

Things will be moving very quickly now. Those that did not complete round 2 scavenger hunts have forfeited the round, and Round 2 is now complete!

Shilea, Szordryn, Aoide, Darius, and Hedschott are currently undefeated.

We had a tie between Szordryn and Darius in round 3. Szordryn won the tie-breaker.

After 3 rounds, Szordryn, Shilea, and Hedschott are all undefeated.

After 5 rounds, Shilea is the only undefeated contestant. MALGRUNT still has
time to complete his 6th scavenger hunt prior to the end of the contest!
Sagan, Hedschott, Szordryn, and Malgrunt complete the top 5.

The "No Frills Quickie Labor Day Weekend Quest of 2011" results are in!

The winner of this weekend's contest is SAGAN! Sagan ended up with a
record of 5 wins and 1 loss. Sagan lost his first round to Hedschott,
but then won the rest of his challenges.

Shilea earned 2nd place, defeated only by the champion. The tie-breaker
was their head-on record.

3rd place Szordryn lost only to 1st place Sagan and 2nd place Shilea,
ending with a 4 win 2 loss record.

Hedschott earned 4th place, and only lost to 2nd place Shilea and 3rd
place Szordryn, ending with a 4 win 2 loss record.

5th place belongs to Aoide, who lost only to 1st place Sagan and 2nd
place Shilea, and won against lower ranked opponents.

And finally, Rosemark owns 6th place, with a 4 win 2 loss record. Her
losses were to lower ranked opponents.

In addition to prizes for 1st - 6th places, I will provide prizes to all
that completed the quest (did all 6 scavenger hunts).

The high total accumulated score belongs to Sagan, who rung up 808
points over 6 rounds. Sagan also had the high single round score with
216 points.

Serena had the high total accumlated score for sub effective 30
competitors, with 57 points over 6 rounds.

Finally, the following match-ups are as follows: Isolas' followers
scored the most accumulated points with 1434 points, followed by 1011
for Katrana, and 13 by Boromir. No Rufus or Lycron followers
participated.

My thanks to everyone who participated. I hope the participants had
