Snowman Wars 2011!

As the subject implies, who is interested in doing Snowman Wars? We've got some new followings that need to make their mark! Post in here if interested. We will only do the quest if enough people express interest. If you haven't done it before, its a lot of fun! Check out the wiki to find some logs of the competition in previous years.

The Legion is interested. I agree with Ink in that it would be nice if it involved something other than finding teleported mobs, though I know that code is already written.

I agree with Ink somewhat. I must confess being a bit burnt out finding teleported mobs, though nothing is quite so exciting as finding one. Perhaps if the time frame were limited or the mobs extra plentiful it would improve morale. Either way, I'm always game for a quest!

Thank you Aoide for the suggestions. The time frame would be limited, probably only to two weeks at this point. It also may be possible to flood the mobs since it will be a shorter window than usual. Does this sound better to everyone?

What are some other complaints about teleported mobs? If you don't like this system, what is a good alternative?

Snowman Wars is what it is. I don't have the time or inclination to update it right now. What is is NOT is Zombie Wars. What it IS is the same thing that has come previous years, a following only quest involving finding snow and presents that runs approximately 7 days, the final fight being some other day after that.

As I say, if you wish to see it this year, let Lycron know. He asked if it would be run this year and I said if there was enough interest, we could look into it.
