I'm not sure if this idea has come about before but here it goes.
My thought is to add a way for player characters to auction items through Mish. Adding to the way it happens, not just making it a limited auction, and god+ done event. Could it be possible to add new commands to Mish to make players able to auction items in their storage.
Mish of course would charge a fee which for the time being we will say is 10% of items selling price. So a player would say have an item in storage that they would wish to sell using Mish's services, they would put a minimum amount they would be willing to get for the item. No matter weather the item sells or not the player would owe Mish a fee, 10% of the price or a flat rate which ever is more. For every week that the item is up for sale the service charge would increase at a 5% rate or double the flat rate.
in a command manor i think it could go something like: mishsell store 1 minbid 25000
which would sell the item stored with Mish slot 1 and set a minimum bid on it at 25k
which if sold at that price or not sold at all the rate Mish would charge would be 2500 gp, but if sold at a higher price Mish would take 10% of final selling price.
And i myself am not sure if the money should go straight in to the players bank account or if said player will need to log in to receive payment, and if within a certain amount lets say a week of the item being sold said player does not log in they will forfeit payment for the item and Mish will keep all gains.
This is not a totally flushed out idea and would appreciate comments of others ideas on this. I would find it great for eq flow and a way to reach all they players who might be looking for particular items.
