Ancient Immortal promotion dates
I emailed the following query to an Immortal mailing list around May 1997:

I don't have the exact date, but it was either the end of July 1995, or
the beginning of august 1995. I am still looking to see if I have a log
file.

Lessee . . . I think Jaxxon was immorted the summer of '94. MAde
lesser in '95, and god in spring of '96. I'm pretty sure that's the years,
dates I wouldn't really remember that well.

The best estimates I have (I can't believe I don't have logs of this,
because I sure can't find them if I do) I was promoted to Ambassador on
2/28/96. My promotion to Demi was, if I remember correctly, 8 or 9 days
thereafter, putting it on about 3/8/96.

Hm, I applied in Jan '96. Got promoted to ambassador about a week or 2
after Molo. February I guess. Promoted to demi by the end of Feb or
early March '96.
Hm, oh, reached level 30 around the end of July '95 at about 400 hrs
playing time.

I beilieve i was promoted to Ambassador one week or two (at the most)
after the "Great Sleep', when the hardware caused 'fun'.

Tynian, I was promoted to Ambassador in January of 1997, and then to
Demi-God in March of 1997. I hope that helps you out.

Sorry, I have a memory like a goldfish, I can't remember the date of
Nina's promotion. However, I believe that she was the last promoted to
ambassador, so if you get a date from Robert or Masher etc, then Nina's
will be shortly after those.

Rehi, as promised I did some more research. I found that my mailfloppies
of the summer of 1995 were damaged, but I managed to repair them. I didn't
find anything really interesting on it tho
Just a few vague facts about Kalten. Kalten was born on June 22th 1995 and
immorted in August. In September 95 he became Demi. Sorry I can't be more
precise, maybe Kalten knows the exact dates himself, but I doubt it...
He'll let you know next week.
I also found out when 2.x started, that was in the last week of March 1995.
TFC was down for over a week back then. If you wanna know when TFC made its
debut on the net, I could check that with an old (mutual) friend who was
around from the beginning. That could take a while tho.
I know you must get sick of the question, but is it really true you aren't
working on 3.x anymore because of all the negative response ? I would
understand it, I'm just waiting to continue the storyline of my char

be lucky when I promote before October 97, eh ? Ah well, you'll have your

This is Tel, I Immorted early in April of 95, and became a demi later
that month, I became a lesser in February of 96.
